We are confident that the alpha will be available in Q1 2021. As of the time this was being written, the Alpha is around 90% Complete. On the release of the Alpha, all players that have pre-ordered the game will be contacted via email notifying them on its release with steps on how to access it.

Official development began on the 10/09/2018. Ever since then we have been continuously working in order to produce the most engaging game possible.

We are a development team of 7 members, situated in Brisbane, Australia. Each member of our development team is dedicated to ensure new and unparalleled ideas are constantly brought to the table to allow for the ultimate game to be created. 

At this point, it is difficult for us to make an estimation. By players pre-ordering the beta version, and providing constructive feedback on the game, it will be easier for us to tell what stage of development the game is positioned within. However, until then, we are focusing our efforts on ensuring Paralaxic is the best it can be.

Yes we do. Because our priority is ensuring Paralaxic's gameplay features and networking are as smooth as possible, we are temporarily relying on Unreal Engine Assets. They are of enormous help to us in the development stages, as we are a brand new organisation with a limited budget, with which we cannot afford to build our own expensive assets. We do, however, envision Paralaxic to be independent from other games on Unreal Engine. As such, we will work hard to increase our budget (mostly from your pre-orders!) in order to ensure we eventually create everything you see in game from scratch. In the meantime, you can enjoy our alpha gameplay as a near-complete representation of the final copy... minus the temporary assets. To those who are disappointed by our choice of using assets, we apologise.

Paragons are our unique in game currency, players will be able to earn and purchase this currency within the game to buy upgrades, weapon skins, spaceship skins and more.
